They are obtained by the process of distillation or maceration of the aromatic plants; they represent the own essence of the plant, as they enclose all of its active ingredients, in a very concentrated form. The main characteristic of the essential oils is that, thanks to their molecular structure, they don’t remain on the surface, but they deeply penetrate into the skin, therefore improving from the inside any type of skin. At the same time they stimulate the olfaction, directly acting on the nervous system (aromatherapeutic effect).
